Most privacy choices can be managed directly in the GigVault app under Settings โ†’ Privacy. This page covers options available outside the app and provides direct links to take action.

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of promotional emails and push notifications at any time. This will not affect transactional messages (booking confirmations, payment receipts).

Location Data

GigVault only uses location when you actively provide a venue address during booking or event creation. We do not collect background location. You can manage location permissions in your device Settings.

Control which notifications you receive in Settings โ†’ Notifications inside the app, or turn them off entirely in your device Settings.

Profile Visibility

Artists can control whether their profile is discoverable in search. Manage this in Settings โ†’ Profile โ†’ Visibility in the app.

Access Your Data

You have the right to request a copy of all personal information we hold about you under POPIA.

You can update your name, email, phone, and profile details directly in the app under Profile โ†’ Edit. For other corrections, contact us.

Delete Your Account

You can permanently delete your GigVault account and all associated personal data. This action is irreversible. Financial records may be retained for up to 5 years as required by law.
